My wife had a headache on New Year’s Eve

So I went out to party without her

Was she mad because I came home drunk?

No!

Was she mad because I had lipstick on my collar?

No!

“Then why are you mad at me?” I asked.

“Because you came home late!” she replied.

“It’s New Year’s Eve; you’re expected to come home late!”

“Yeah, but June 5^th is a little too late!”
